HONEY & HEALTH: Nature's Sweet Treat Workshop

Honey is a true superfood with unique characteristics and nutritional value. There are over 300 varieties of honey each with unique flavor, color, and aroma profiles. The popularity of honey has continued to grow over the past decade due, in part, to its nutritional and therapeutic uses. After this session, you will walk away with a better understanding of honey varietals, health benefits, and therapeutic uses. You will also receive recipes and food samples highlighting different honey types.

Event will be hosted by Kristin Bogdonas with the University of Illinois Extension Office, 321 2nd Ave W., Milan, IL Cost of this workshop is $10 per person. Cost covers our class and samples. Class time 10:00am to 11:30am.
